To The Manor Retired (One More Day)

One more day.   Then the fingertip I am holding on to my old work life will let go and allow that ship drift away.  One can't be positive that the right decisions have been made.  But in the last week,  something (not sure what specifically) has caused a turn around in my outlook on life.  A change of the tide.  It might be the new medications.   It might be the ten pounds I have lost

One more day.   Then the fingertip I holding on to my old work life will let go and let that ship drift away.  One can't be positive that the right decisions have been made.  But in the last week,  something (not sure what specifically) has caused a turn around in my outlook on life.  A change of the tide.  It might be the new medications.   It might be the ten pounds I have lost in the last two weeks.  But probably it is the final acceptance of letting go of a toxic situation that was never going to improve.

I don't know what is in store for humble self.  Can only take one day at a time and watch for the next opportunities to show themselves.  Be ready to jump.    Take care of my Spouse and my Mom,  my Family .  Actually have begun to look forward to the holidays instead of dreading the decorating and cooking, the hustle and bustle, the inclination to try to make it "perfect".

Re-connecting with what's good in the world and being able to enjoy it.
