This mommy guilt thing can really derail one's inner-peace. How can those sweet little faces cause such self-doubt at times?
We have all been there at some point with our children. Sometimes, moms just need a break. Others may think we are "weak" because we admit to needing a little more time to ourselves than the occasional sneak-to-the-bathroom-break (in hopes we won't get caught by those tiny, prying fingers under the door).
After all, we are human, aren't we?
There is working mom guilt and there is SAHM guilt. As mothers, we should be on one another's side, not against each other, tearing each other apart. I am sure many of you have read or been a victim of this debate. It is a hard situation, no matter which side of the guilt coin you are on.
Please, remember to be kind to yourself and kind to others. Everyone deserves a break now and then. We all need reminding once in awhile of how important we truly are. Especially to our precious children and family; no matter how big or small they are. No matter if you work or work at home for your children and family. You deserve to just be.
Take care out there, fellow mothers.
