Why aren't you living the life you really want?

No matter how much planning you put into it, life is still a big mystery. You just never know where it will take you.  I guess that has some good and bad points.

We go through life in cycles where we learn new things about ourselves and further develop into the person we are to become.  I think about who I was years ago and wonder what I would have been like if I had the knowledge I do today. As you get older and gain more wisdom, you also gain a little insight into life's mystery. It's about becoming the best person you can be and living a happy life along the way. After all, this is not a dress rehearsal this is the real deal!

How often do we say things like "I'm going to gain experiene in my career first and then start a family or eventually I want to travel the world or I've always wanted to live on the beach...maybe I will some day.  What if eventually or some day never comes?  We're only guaranteed right now.  I guess when you've already had so many tomorrows, you start to take them for granted.  Do you ever wonder what the world & people would be like if we were all living each day doing things we truly loved? A happier place for sure!

I know I'm guilty of putting my happiness off just like others.  Why can't the things you enjoy most and that you're most passionate about also earn you a living.  I think it's simply because the thought of that is scary  to many people.  We all need a little green in our pocket to survive and the paycheck from a 9 to 5 puts that green in your pocket on a regular basis.  I don't know about you but I hate seeing people that hate their job but feel stuck. It spills over to the rest of their life and brings it down. Soon the believing in dreams stops.  The dream that work can actuallly be something you enjoy and enhance your life. That your life SHOULD be something you enjoy and that brings you happiness.

It took me a while to make that leap but now I'm working on making my passion my career.    I know it will make parts of my life happier.  I wish more people could erase their fears and truly live their life doing what they are most passionate about.  What's the worst that could happen?  You could live a happier life.

If your work is your passion and your living a truly happy life then that's a wonderful thing but if you're not ask yourself why not.  Start by asking yourself these questions.  Where there's a will there is a way.

Go for it and don't give up!
