A year ago, a family I grew up with lost their mom suddenly. They were shocked and grief stricken, as the kids all gathered around their father to try and make sense of all that has happened.

Growing up in church, they were the large family. With "so many" kids... there were always one or two of them bouncing around. They were well known and loved and held a prominent place in our Church's heart. I would see them leave in their big 15 passenger van and wondered what it was like in their family. I usually sat alone, in my parents car. My older sister often drove herself to church....

Over the years, the blessings of facebook let me re-unite with many people from my past... Some of them were members of this family. I saw them grown, families of their own and thru the eyes of their pictures, saw how close they remained.

They had 7 kids....
