Reflections

Overall I felt good. I made sure that every time I got hungry I made a juice. I was focused and extremely energetic throughout the day. I felt like I was on a sugar high, (which I probably was from all of the fruit), but I never experienced the crash that normally accompanies refined sugar or too much caffeine. There was definitely some temptation at dinnertime though. Cooking smells wafted over from the kitchen where my husband was making his dinner and I realized how comforting warm food, specifically warm simple carbs like bread and potatoes, can be.
