I am interested in discovering the first step in starting a small business. Can any of you entrepenuers out there give me a clue as to my first step? It will be healty, sugar free dessert items, ideal for diabetics and those of us who simple can not tolerate or do not want to eat sugar or artificial substitues.
Does simply getting a small business license allow me to offer my food on-line or walk around to my local coffee shops (I'm in the Tacoma-Seattle area - lot's of coffee shops!) or do I need other "permits"?
