At 15, I thought Ike had it all figured out - he was going to be a general, then the president of the USA. Not me at 15, I couldn't figure out hight school much less a career. One Sunday, my father handed me the Christian Science Monitor (he subscribed to every publication, and read them) and said "read the article on the back page". It was about goal setting, finding direction, being all I could be.
Here I am at 67 with not a goal in site -obviously... I am still applying for jobs. I was thinking of my best and worst job. Best working in the Legislature as a committee secretary - I like politices and I like watching people use power to their advantage. My worst was boxing chocolates in the basement of a building that was constructed in 1929. It was/is dark, has tunnels that run under the main street and, if the lights came up I am certain rats and other critters ate the "hand dipped" delights.
I lasted in that job for 22 hours - a record for me.
