Now, we are all familiar with Halloween. The witches, The goblins, Vampires and Bats. Yes, we are all well aware of these things. But, how many of you remember your favorite halloween? Was it the costume? Was it the candy, as usual? Was it a party that you were invited to? Or were you able to finally scare that person that you've tried to scare and it always seems as if they were on to you and blew the surprise right out of the water? What was the specific memory that brings back fun Halloween memories for you?
Have your Halloweens been better since you've became a parent? How about your favorites movies for the season?
ABC Family has the Thirteen Nights of Halloween. Well, My Mom always jokes and calls it the Thiry nights of Halloween, because it feels longer to her. My favorite Halloween of all time is Hocus Pocus! I just love the casting! They couldn't have picked better people to play the Sanderson Sisters. Everybody in the movie was just Phenomenal and that's one of the reasons why I love the film!
You know, I think that it means a lot when you've got some type of childhood memory. Halloween was my Grandfather's favorite holiday. He loved giving candy to the kids and they enjoyed obviously. Well, I was scared of Halloween until I turned fourteen. But, my Mother still hates the Witch from the Wizard of Oz! I mean, HATES that Witch! She doesn't even watch the movie, if it's playing on TV.
Now, I've got to admit something. I have never been Trick or Treating! Yes, that's right I've never been trick or treating. Don't have the slightest clue about what it feels like. But, I do love giving the candy and I hope that this year will be fun for the children.
I want them to be able to have safe, clean and good fun. I don't want any Whackos to mess up anything for them I want the kids to be able to dress up and have fun with their friends and family. Eat the candy, have no cavities and no crazy stuff in the candy! Just clean fun!
So, everybody, Let's all pray together that this Halloween will be safe for everyone!
