You know I had to share this one from the hubs Flickr page. It’s an Armadillo. A mirrored Armadillo. What could be more “through the wormhole” than that?
The hubs had this to say about the photo:
“Another of Houston's unusual sights sits on Kirby drive out front of Goode's Armadillo Palace and kitty corner from the original Goode's Co. Barbecue. Sitting in a small patio right by the sidewalk and adjacent to the street is a ~10 foot high mirrored and horned armadillo statue. Quite a sight, the giant armadillo has armor and claws like any Texas armadillo but is topped off with a set of long horns on its head. At night its eyes change color from red to blue. An awesome sight at any hour, this statue is one stop on my Weird Houston Tour.”
Yes, he has a “Weird Houston Tour.” Hey, the guy married me. (Grin)
Do you have a “weird” something? Okay, don’t get TOO freaky. This is a “G” rated blog. It’s Friday! Take it through the wormhole and get ready for the weekend!
“I enjoyed this book and read it a while back. But when I found it on here I had to tell the author I thought it was dark and very well done. I would totally recommend this book.” BB, Amazon review
Oh yes, you CAN buy this book now! :-)
