Monsoon is pleasant for those who don’t mind some showers from the heaven. In fact, most of us look forward to experiencing the smell of the rain and the rain itself. Then there’s lush green and all the romance in the air. We by all odds want to make the most of this lovely weather, not just sit at home and complain about the cold showers. Right? We have listed few things that you could be doing when it is raining outside.

Take a rain shower: We understand that it is not everyone’s cup of tea...but just imagine yourself walking down the lonely street, under the pouring sky, embracing the freshness, we are sure you got goosebumps all over your body just by imagining it. You will surely feel cleansed and new after this experience. Note: Don’t do this if you are sensitive to cold and rain.

Watch old movies: If you are an indoor person, then you could stick to watching the movie that you had wanted to catch up all along but kept postponing for some reason or another. Rain is definitely a good enough reason to work on your must-watch movies list.

Go cycling: We don’t recommend you go cycling when it is raining outside. That’s a very dangerous sport. However, you could explore your own city the next morning after the rain and experience it like never before. The whole city will look new and fresh, and there is no other better way to start your day.

Become a chef: While the heavens pour showers down the earth, you can put your culinary skills to some use. You can make either hot pakoras or steaming soup to beat the cold caused by rain. Your spouse will get impressed, too. That’s like killing two birds with one arrow.

Reading a romance: Monsoon is not just heavens pouring down rain, they also inject romance into the air. Everyone wants to cozy up with their partners, cuddle in warm beds, under thick sheets. If you are still single, you could make yourself a hot cup of coffee and read that mills and boon book which has been lying on your desk for months now.

Plan a get together: We understand it is not all fun to travel in the rain, but if you plan it beforehand, you could spend some quality time with friends and relatives while it rains outside. What better way to spend a rainy evening than gossiping with friends over some coffee and hot pakoras?

Playing rummy: If you are not in mood to socialize or go out, then you could always play a game of rummy. Most people like playing card games while it rains outside. You see, indoor games are the best during monsoon. If you cannot gather players because of the rain then you can just play it online, These days you will find hundreds of rummy destinations online and they are as good as playing in real, even better because you can play it anytime and anywhere. You can learn how to play rummy online by online rummy tutorials.
