I am the ecstatic owner of both a Nook and a Kindle. I'm also a voracious reader who will read the back of a cereal box if it's the only thing available. Unfortunately, my budget doesn't always keep up with my appetite for books. But there are literally millions of free books out there to take advantage of.

For the Nook:

  • Go to bn.com.
  • Select NookBooks for the search field.
  • Enter 0.00 in the search box.
  • Narrow the results by your favorite genre.

For the Kindle:

  • Go to amazon.com.
  • Select Kindle Store for the search field.
  • Enter 0.00 in the search box.
  • Narrow the results by your favorite genre.

Now, if you don't have an e-reader, don't despair!! Both BN and Amazon have apps you can download to your tablet, phone, or computer to read e-books on. And the apps are free, too!!

Enjoy!!
