Sure, fireworks a pretty much the definition of the 4th of july. They are usually a fun display enjoyed by all- but man are they a pain in the butt.

You've gotta make sure to keep all the little ones away from em, and have a safe place to send em of. They will drive your dog nuts! And probably in your neighborhood theres enough going off that you could just enjoy someone elses show.

So instead of shelling out for some pretty fireworks that will be gone forever once you've used em- why not center your 4th of july party around a few other entertainment items. Ones you'll be able to use again and again!

1. What Do You MEME
This is a super fun party game that everyone will love. Think cards against humanity, but with your favorite memes! It is a fun game you'll be able to use again and again!

2. A Slip And Slide
You may be thinking these things are for kiddos- but not anymore. They come in a range of huge sizes, and are super fun to get going at a backyard barbecue. You don't have to have a pool to cool off for the holiday! Get one that has a strong jet/ hose hook up, or throw some baby oil on em to make it extra slippery!

3. A Hoverboard
These things do seem like you can only go one at a time, and while it is true- watching someone ride one will entertain EVERYONE watching. Theres a corner of the internet with just videos of people trying them for the first time, because it is SOOO funny! To find the best hoverboard for use in your outdoor area, check out the wheel sizes. Some work just fine in grass or on the lawn too!
