Finally, I bought my first Ree Drummond Cookbook!

I am so incredibly excited to finally have something that Mom and I wanted. I bought "The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays",,last week online at Barnes and How happy I was! I wanted to get the cookbook for Mom for Christmas. But, the first time I saw at Walmart, I didn't have the money for it. Then, when I did and I went back, they were all gone!

So I had to give up on getting it for her before Christmas. But, I said to myself, "I am getting us that Cookbook!" We are Avid Ree fans, I cannot stress that enough! So, I was just kind of browsing around on the computer, trying to come up with some ideas for blog posts. When I thought about the book. I had my Paypal and I said, 'Let's go Shopping!' Found the Cookbook and kept it surprise, until it almost got here! Then, of course I spilled the beans and told Mom what I'd done. But, she was happy and we both love the book!

I had no idea how Big the book was, until I saw it in Walmart! It is Great! I absolutely love the photography and the recipes! Everything looks so easy and doable. And that's exactly how I love to see cookbooks. It doesn't make cooking look like you're building a plane! It just looks like cooking. Plain and simple.

The book in my mind, is pretty much a combination; of her blog and her show. The humor's there, the great food is there, the photography is there. It just all works and fits together. I love it.

She really makes me want to work harder and study more about this fascinating world of Blogging and writing.

For anyone that don't have it, don't stop until you get it! I know that I wasn't going to. You'll love it!  It's fun, colorful, vibrant and you will want to try the recipes in the book, as soon as you see them. There are ideas in there, that made me think, How did I miss that? Or, Why didn't I think of that?  I recommend The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays to  one and all!

(P.S. Warning! Looking at the photography and food, will probably make you hungry! So, you might want to think about having a snack on hand! :) )
