Facebook Just Hijacked My Computer’s Screen At Home!

I am very angry and very troubled right now. Today, Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 1:55 P.M., Pacific Time, while chatting with my daughter, using Yahoo’s Messenger, my computer’s screen was suddenly HIJACKED by an add using Facebook. The background was Facebook’s well known page, with an advertisement from Butterfinger in the center of the page. HOW DARE THEY DO THIS!!

Technically, I did not have an Internet window open, and this has NEVER, ever happened to me before. If this is something new that Facebook is doing, hijacking our home’s screen, it is VERY wrong and intrusive.

I apologize for my display of anger, but I needed to get this out there as soon as it happened. I am looking to find some answers to this occurrence. This type of advertisement, at will, should not be tolerated!

Please, has anyone else experienced this today, or recently?
