I like it so much now that I probably will be blogging 10 years in the future if blogging is still around. And if it’s free. If I’m still drawing and painting I will most likely be posting my work on my art blog just as I do now.
I hope to write some flash fiction or short stories to add to my writing blog. I just might switch to another site like Jimdo where I can put my stories in different tabs so they are easier to access.
It’s a disappointment to find an interesting blog to follow then find out that the person hasn’t posted in over a year. Maybe they think that no one is reading it. Even if they have 1 follower, that doesn’t mean other people aren’t visiting. I would follow it if I thought it was interesting. With that in mind, I will try to keep updating my art and writing blogs.
On the other hand…I do have a painting blog (www.artofkimberly.blogspot.com) that I haven’t posted to in over a year, but that’s because I haven’t painted in oil or acrylic in that long. It’s not that I don’t like to. I just don’t have the time at the moment.
I would love to do a series of paintings, in oil or acrylic, of chubby women in old fashioned bathing suits. Like the one below. This was an ACEO art card I created that was sold. It is one of my all-time favorite pieces. It has a certain charm that I would like to capture again. I would like to do this style on a much bigger canvas.
