This semester I have been enrolled in a class that revolves around feminism and the world of blogging. Through this class I have been enlightened into just how slow the world as a whole has been to embrace women's rights.
This evening during a group chat my professor gave me the advice to write about what makes me angry. Truth is I spend a lot of my time diffusing the anger of others, and rarely feel it myself.
With that being said there has been a website that really makes me angry and inspired all at the same time.
This website's mission is to advance womens human rights by meeting urgent needs in communities and building lasting solutions to crisis. In exploring this website my eyes were opened to a whole new world of feminine trials and successes. It gives you the opportunity to follow stories of hope, and donate to make a difference.
During our class this evening I realized that a group like this needs each and every person it inspires to pass the word along and promote awareness. I realized I had an obligation to spread the word. I hope that this blog reaches at least one person that will click on the link and learn what they can do to help women around the world!
