Cats Anonymous

Ha! OMGoodness!

The cards and letters are coming in.

Now that I have publicly posted about having seven cats, other members of the BlogHer community are reaching out to say they also have numbers of cats, but have been afraid to admit it.

This morning, in the quiet of the early morning, a help group has been formed: Cats Anonymous.

In writing back and forth to share my all time favorite cat movie clip, I decided to go public with the group, its mission and our mutual goal of healing.

So without further ado, my name is Robin and I am a Cat-aholic.

From this morning:

Yes! Yes! Let this be our first meeting of CA. I'm Robin and I'm a cataholic.'s nuts..I hate the work involved and all of their picky-wicky little needs and habits. But, they are SO SWEET and SO loving and SO thankful for their home, what else can we do? And, have I mentioned trying to go on vacation?
Wait...I think in honor of our new found connection, I am going to do a BlogHer post with my favorite cat movie clip....thanks for the thought...Yes...sisters separated at birth...I believe it...Much Love, Fondly, Robin

And now to set the scene:

Do you all watch "Trailer Park Boys?" Right now, the series can be streamed on NetFlix and it is the way you should spend the rest of the day, if you haven't watched it already.

Here's how the listing appears:

Trailer Park Boys (2001) NR

This wickedly funny mockumentary series follows the booze-fueled misadventures of Julian (John Paul Tremblay), Ricky (Robb Wells) and Bubbles (Mike Smith), longtime pals and petty serial criminals who run scams from their Nova Scotia trailer park -- when they aren't in jail, that is. But kudos to the lads for their persistence, even if their harebrained get-rich schemes involve growing pot right under the nose of ex-cop Jim (John Dunsworth).

Genre: TV Shows, TV Comedies, Sitcoms This show is: Raunchy Availability: Streaming and DVD

And here is the movie clip I love:

Bubbles is on a bus riding home to the trailer park, having just been released from jail. He arrives at his shed, opens the door to see the provisions he's left for his collection of stray cats during his absence....

OMGoodness...can't take it...funniest scene ever...see what you think...

Bubbles arrives home at Cat Food Mountain

Well...that's the end of our first meeting....

Feel free to judge me all you want...I don't blame you a bit.

Much Love, Fondly, Robin is authored by a little bird who loves to lure unsuspecting BlogHer bloggers to her web site.
