BlogHer Network Member News, March 21: Jeanette Chen in Local Media for Cooking Classes

The idea for this soup series came from an article she came across last summer called The Kids Are All Right, But What About The Elderly?, which stated that as people age -- even if they were once good cooks -- they often stop cooking and turn to convenience foods, usually processed or canned. The most rewarding part of teaching these classes for her was when one of the women told her that the classes helped get her through a long winter.
