Blogging Woes

How many newbie bloggers start out with the grandiose idea that their blog is going to rock the world? That EVERYONE will want to read their words of wisdom? Yes, I am one of those delusional schmucks. I mean, seriously, who wouldn’t be waiting by their <insert device of choice here> to read my next brilliantly crafted chocolate review?

My blog is a hobby and I have enjoyed the process of creating and maintaining it. But, my ego sure has taken a beating. I honestly did not realize how much work was involved in getting visitors to my blog. And, keeping people coming back? Well, I am still struggling with figuring that out also. I blog, I tweet, I stumble, I pin…and then start it all over again.  Catchy, huh?

I created my blog in May, so it is still relatively new. Maybe it just takes time to build a following. If you are a successful blogger, and by some miracle, are actually reading this article, please help a new blogger out by sharing some tips for increasing blog traffic.

In the meantime, I will continue to share my love of chocolate with anyone who cares to read about it. Keep Calm and Carry On....
