Be A Magnet For Success

Sometimes it seems that if it weren’t for bad luck you’d have no luck at all. Try as you might, positive opportunities never appear in your life or may be fleeting at best. You want to be financially stable, happy, healthy, and deeply in love, yet one thing or another is constantly elusive. If this is the case, your subconscious may be holding you back. In my book Reprogram Your Subconscious - Use The Power Of Your Mind To Get Everything You Want I teach people how to achieve their dreams. In this article I want to show you how to break through your subconscious barriers and attract positive opportunities.

Flexible Goals

If you focus on a goal and imagine only one outcome, you end up closing the door to other possibilities. For example, say that you want a particular job or person. Your mind is set on this one goal and that’s that. Nothing or nobody else will do. Perhaps you have a vision board, affirmations, visualization, your prayers, or whatever else you put into practice for goal-attainment. With this laser beam focus you concentrate on your desires and put all of your energy into it.

You wait, and wait, and wait, but for some reason nothing happens. Meanwhile, as you focused so intently on what you wanted, other opportunities that may have been just as good or better have passed you by yet you never noticed.

The Universe listens and sends us what we need to be happy, yet too many times we’re closed off to this because we’re too focused on what we think we want.

Positive Outlook

Sometimes you can try too hard or want changes too quickly. When your goals remain out of reach it often leads to negative thinking. Like a recording we repeat over and over again all of the bad things in our lives, the things we don’t want, every mistake that was made, and are completely oblivious to the good in our lives.

Everyone has some positive things to be thankful for, whether people who love them, their health, an enjoyable hobby, a home, enough food, etc. Instead, we unconsciously set up negative barriers all around us that are so wide and tall that opportunity couldn’t possibly find its way to us. By having a positive outlook and focusing on the positive the Universe will send more of it. What you focus on expands! Count your blessings and they'll multiply.

Releasing Fear

Humans are creatures of habit, even bad habit. We fear change because we don’t know what will happen. Even if your life isn’t where you want it to be, at least you know where it is. When you open yourself up to change it can be scary. Sure, you know what you’d like to happen, and you try to focus on being positive, but you hang on to the edge of that cliff fearing you’ll fall rather than fly.

How can you overcome this fear that keeps you frozen in place? Practice taking small risks and making tiny changes so that you grow comfortable with it. Once you stretch yourself beyond your current comfort zone, you’ll never go back. Soon you’ll look on your old life and wonder why you were so afraid to leave it behind.

Practice Patience

Whether you’re trying to lose weight, become financially stable, build a business, or finding your soul mate, expecting huge changes right away is the quickest path to disappointment. We get frustrated and give up too quickly when the scale doesn’t move or our bank account stays in the negative. Things didn’t get as they are over night. The way your life is right now is a sum total of every decision you’ve ever made. It’s the result of action and inaction.  Anything worth achieving takes time.

By following these steps and moving forward each day with confidence and perseverance, there’s no reason why you can’t live the life of your dreams. Each moment is filled with choices; commit to making the best ones possible.
