Award-winning Biographer Deirdre Bair was no "Good Girl"

This morning, did you catch Lynn Povich's interview on CNN?

Povich's new book is titlted The Good Girls Revolt: How the Women of Newsweek Sued Their Bosses and Changed the Workplace.  I've ordered the book. I'm in.

Povich reminded me that cultural/literary biographer Deirdre Bair chuckled during my interview with her as she recalled her early days at Newsweek. But in a serious tone, she went on to talk about integrity and standing up for herself.

Her inspiring words serve as a reminder that equality flows from our inner voice of personal truth.
