Of all my social media accounts, Instagram quickly climbed to the top of my favorites list -- and happily remains at the to of the heap. I love the pretty, the ordinary, the funny, the ugly, the real of what is shared every day by people. It's like a glimpse into their lives that we don't get via words on Twitter or Facebook. We've rounded up a handful of great accounts who are all using Instagram in their own, unique ways. There's something for everyone on this list!
Yum. That's the word I think every time I see a photo pop up by Dana Schulz, the woman behind minimalistbaker. Recently I've seen berry oats, margaritas, green asparagus, cookies, cookies, and a doughnut. Every time I look at this feed, I get hungry. It's a food feed -- done right.

Pretty. So pretty it makes me want to prettify my own Instagram feed! That's how I feel when I see another gorgeous image posted by mrscraftberrybush. Bright and cheery, light and colorful, and all full of something that can only be described as a light of love. If you want some pretty in your feed, you need to follow this Instagram account.

Intriguing. I've seen Instagram used to do a lot of things, but snowshelleyjackson takes it to a whole new level. In short: She's telling a story. In snow. One word at a time. To get on the right "page," you need to scroll all the way back to her first image posted on January 22 and then read forward from that point. I love the unique spin on storytelling, the creative use of this Polar Vortex (of DOOM), and the social aspect of it all.

Budding fashionista! I love fashion feeds on Instagram as it is, but 2sisters_angie takes it to an amazing, awesome, fun new level. We get to see Mayhem, age 4, and her fashion creations, hashtagged #fashionbyMayhem. And this isn't just a mom dressing her kid up in cute clothes. No. These dresses are made from paper. Some are inspired by Hollywood or the catwalk, some are original creations, and all of them are TOTALLY awesome.
Crafty! I can't look at nataliabonner's Instagram feed without wanting to break out my sewing machine. She's an author of two books about quilts, so it's no surprise that the photos she shares of her projects are just amazing. Okay, maybe I should confess that her images make me want to buy her quilts more than learn how to quilt, but there's still a twinge that leaves me wanting to learn!

Love. I kind of want to be a part of yankeedrawl's family. When she shares pictures of their family life, I am just filled with such a sense of awe. And it's not in that, "oh, she must only be sharing the most perfect moments of their life." It's the amazing eye for capturing the moment, it's the tender moments shared; it's the beauty and reality of family life, so perfectly shared.
