Check Your Analytics and PageRank

How is your SEO? Are you keyworded for when you started your business or website three years ago? Because I'm willing to bet you are not now what you thought you would be then. What can you do in 2014 to up the ante? Check your analytics, formulate an SEO checklist, and update those keywords. If you write a blog, start with your 10 most popular posts and go from there.

Brainstorm Who to Work With

Perhaps it's a brand (or a few). Maybe you would like to start guest posting. Make a list, check it twice, and figure out how to start making connections.

Create a Content Calendar

Remember that list of who you want to work with? What do you want to do for or with them? Start creating a content calendar, and you will be better able to define your goals and how you will get there. Added bonus? It will help you when you are writing your pitches.

Pretty Up Your Forms

Not just your contact form, but all of your forms. Take advantage of MailChimp and get going on your opt-in form and confirmation emails. Create a great-looking template, either for your newsletter or your RSS to email campaigns. Do this now so you can start building your email lists in 2014. Do you need help with this? Let me know!

What are you doing to up your ante for 2014?
