My progress, this week, has been pretty good. I'm all done with the ribbing on the bottom of the front of the sweater and have moved onto stockinette. YAY! I may have rejoiced when I got to this point, but will soon be like is it over with yet. There's a lot of stockinette in this pattern. The good thing about that is it is potato chip knitting. I can sit down at night, and do a lot while watching TV.
I've signed up for Ravellenics over at Ravelry. If you don't know what that is, it is where during the Olympics we cast on and knit why watching the Olympics. There are different events to enter in and teams to join. I joined the Geek Girls Knit team and will be doing Hat Halfpipe, WIPs-Dancing and maybe Cross Cowling. Yes, I'm crazy and have lost my mind possilbly to do three events at once. I like totally couldn't help it when I saw the event list. I almost signed up for socks as well but restrained myself.
If you haven't checked out the Geeky Girls Knit podcast, you should. I really like it. It's a mother/daughter team who does it. I've know C.C. for a few years. We were in a couple Yahoogroups together. She's a nice lady, and her daughter is sweet.
You can read my other Ribbing-Along post on my blog.
What are y'all working on this week? If you're doing Ravellenics what events are you entering?
