And here is the after:
The color I chose here is Behr Premium Plus Ultra in Cranberry UL100-4. This color really managed to make the grey of my exterior paint "pop" to life. The berry hue is a color I know I'll be happy with year-round. Bright and cheery in the spring and summer, then rich and festive for the holidays in fall and winter.
My front door is aluminum (or metal, I'm not exactly sure), so before I began to paint I used a latex primer called Gripper made by Glidden, which was recommended by the Home Depot. Then I used a sponge roller to paint a total of 4 coats on the door, (those pesky red tones can be such a hassle).
