More Mittens From Vogue

I picked up the newest copy of Vogue Knitting yesterday. Now, normally this isn’t something I would do (vogue +northern redneck just aren’t two concepts you’d normally find together) , but the cover caught my eye. Mittens!! And with our last post being all about mittens, I just had to try to put these together. Most of these mittens are more of what you’d consider in the Vogue line, with cables, intarsia and colorwork, designer stuff, everything from cute to elegant. And they’re do-able.

Are you one of those people who just leafs through a magazine looking for the freebies? You’re missing out. If you have internet, which I’m assuming you do, as you’re reading this, check out the ads. For example, the first one I brought up was an ad by Colorful Stitches. And what did I find there, amidst the “Free Patterns” section? More mittens. I tell ya, it’s meant to be!

Check out the latest issue of Vogue Knitting, and if you fall in love with the cardigan on page 4, which I did, look on page 108 for the pattern. Yup! That one just went on my “to do” list!
