Most of the time, when I've got a great idea it sticks in my head like glue and I can't get it out for years. Of course, ALL of the time, it takes years to get an idea from my head to my hands. I'm the slowest knitter in the world and can't concentrate on anything for more than 5 seconds at a time. Sue me.
But good news! I finally finished something! I have been swatching and refining my Diagonal Drop Stitch Scarf pattern for nearly 5 years. I'm totally serious - 5 years. It's finally here and finally done and finally, finally ready for the public. It's also on Ravelry where I've had at least one person knit it up and say that she liked it! Yay for small progress!
This pattern is extremely flexible and can be made with nearly any yarn of your choosing as gauge is not really important. It's also appropriate for advanced beginners or intermediate knitters. If you can cast on, bind off, yarn over, and knit two together than you're probably ready to give it a whirl.
