Beautiful Entryways

The entry is the first space your guests walk into your home, so you want it to be a statement room, whether the space is small or large.  The entry is an introduction to your home and a summary of your home's ambiance.  You want it to be inviting.

Veranda, February 2012 Issue

I posted this photo in an earlier post, but I just love this room.  I love the wood ring wall covering on the accent wall, and the light fixture is stunning.  It reminds me of the 1920's era.

Sweeping staircase connects the entry to the 2nd floor.  Combo of black and white tile; piano under the floating stairs--formal and traditional feel.

Inspirations from France & Italy, Betty Lou Phillips

Pair of French commodes frame entry door.  Nature scenery wall covering line the walls--formal and classic.
