I had photo confetti at my wedding 10 years ago and I loved it. The confetti was composed of various pictures of me and my husband through our 5 years of dating. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: when party planning it is all about the details. Did you see my post about throwing a Halloween Party? Remember the part about how much I loved pictures? Well this year I decided to combine my love of scrapbooking of party planning and make my own batch of photo confetti.
The first thing I did was print out several pictures from Halloween parties in past years. This year is our 5th annual so there were several to choose from. I also grabbed some double sided Halloween themed scrapbook paper and circular paper punches.
I like for my husband to feel like he is in on the party planning so he punched paper wile I punched photos. 30 minutes and a slight hand cramp later I started spreading my confetti around the table.
Yes, I already have one of my planned 5 food tables set up. An amazing party table takes time, band major hats and pictorial confetti. I love the personal touch the confetti adds to the table. I want people to load up on witch finger cookies and spot themselves 3 years ago dressed as spiderwoman.
I used several different sizes of paper punches for my confetti. I feel like I need to make about double the amount for each table. As I explained I hire a photographer each year (these confetti pictures are by Jennifer M. Ramos) I want to get as much bang for my buck as I can.
If you have not priced out photo confetti lately, let me tell you it is pricey. It is much cheaper to get a coupon code from Walgreens and get to punching.
