Being pregnant is the dream and goal of many women out there who are in long-term relationships or otherwise. If you think you are pregnant, or you’re looking get pregnant and know as soon as possible, you certainly aren’t alone. So, here are some great early signs of your pregnancy that you can look for in yourself, and while it won’t be a guaranteed result until you go to the doctor and get tested, this will give you a great start on telling whether or not you are pregnant. Here are the signs to look for in your changing body.
A Late Period
This is seemingly obvious, and normally the first indicator that something is off, but it is common for many women to just put it off as it being late. Unless you are “by the clock” in terms of your periods, most of us are accustomed to it not starting on the actual day it’s supposed to. If it gets really late, though, this is a sign that you could be pregnant.
If you have tenderness in your chest area, especially your breasts, this is another sign you are pregnant. Your chest is already starting to form itself into where it needs to be to produce milk for your unborn child. You will notice extreme tenderness, which is telling you something is going on underneath the surface.
We all feel tired from time to time, but if you are noticing you are tired often, it could be a sign you are pregnant. You will find that you’re more tired due to the fact that your body is going into overdrive trying to take care of two people instead of one, so you need to remember that this will make you more fatigued and much hungrier, too. It must be an extreme fatigue, though, and one that won’t go away no matter how much you sleep.
Frequent Trips to the Bathroom
When you are pregnant, you will need to go to the bathroom more often. If you are noticing that you have to go, like, every 10 minutes, then this is a good sign that you are indeed pregnant. This is an early side effect of pregnancy, much to the dislike of most women out there.
Cravings / Aversions
While you may hear about cravings and aversions later on in the term of a pregnancy, these are also common in the early days of pregnancy, you just don’t see how it is related to your body changing to allow a baby to grow inside of you. The same thing is true when you are looking at aversions or distaste. These can often be popping up and you won’t realize they are doing so because of your body changing. If you notice anything changing in this way, you should take note of it and think about whether this is a recent change or not.
Being pregnant is something that should always be a happy experience for a woman, whether it’s planned or not. You have to remember that a baby is always a good thing and that your body is trying to tell you that you are creating a life inside of you. If you want to know before you even take an “at home” pregnancy test, you can just use these signs as a guide that you are going to be having a little one join your world in just a few short months.
