This week I received this picture from a client with their freshly prepped meal. I love to see that clients have to healthy alternatives from frozen convenience foods. I prepped five dinners in the convenience of their home with fresh ingredients that took less that 15 minutes of their time to cook each night. Smiles like these are worth a thousand words! Glad you were happy!
Saturday I went to the TD Downtown Saturday Market. Check out my local finds!
I picked up some lovely beets from Hurricane Creek Farms. Oh yes, and I cannot forget the grits nor the beautiful basil. Have you ever seen basil that huge? They have a store in Pelzer SC, but they are also at the market every Saturday.
Soby's on the Side makes beautiful crepes filled with all sorts of scrumptious goodies.
I bought some beautiful Rainbow Chard from The Generous Garden Project. This is a non-profit urban farm. The grow fresh produce and give it to those in need at local shelters by teaching them self-sustainability. You can sign up at their link above to volunteer and/or donate.
Lastly, I had to take another trip over to Murrells Inlet, so I made the most of it by relaxing in the evening on the beautiful Marshwalk on the waterway. If you have never been, please go asap. There is a boardwalk with endless choices for fresh seafood and live music.
I hope some of these things brightened your Monday! What made you smile today?
