Starting your baby on solid foods can be a very exciting as well as a daunting experience as a new mom. I remember one of my early excursions to the grocery store with my baby. A shopping dilema arose when I arrived to the baby food aisle. There were so many choices! Naturally, I thought what does this food taste like? What flavor will the baby like? How much do I serve at each feeding? Moms, can you relate to this?
Faced with a selection of fruits and vegetables and food combinations, chicken and apples or pasta and vegetables, Earth's Best or Beechnut; how do you know what to choose? Other times I had experienced a shopping dilema such as this was at the baby superstore and the beauty supply store such as Sephora! In the end, I chose to make most of my own baby food. However, I did purchase a few jars of baby food for the sitter and daycare to use.
