So you're having a c-section

I had my first scheduled c-section in December, 2004 with my daughter after my doctor determined that I would be unable to have her naturually. My second was with my son in April, 2004. While I know that doesn’t make me an expert, it does make me experienced.

Since then I have heard a lot of fear and apprehension surrounding c-sections from mom that have never had one. In honor of Cesarean Awareness month, I have written a six part series detailing what happens when you are having a planned c-section. If you are pregnant and concerned about having a c-section, here is what I think you should know.
