Have you seen the publicity Dr. Oz's 48-Hour Cleanse Diet has generated? Not only was it featured on Dr. Oz's website last October, it's one of the cover stories in the March issue of Oprah Magazine. Even news aggregator, The Huffington Post, wrote about it.
On a whim I decided to try the diet. Then in a moment of inspiration, I thought as long as I was going through it, I ought to describe the experience on my blog.
Well, wow, who knew people are SO into cleanses?
Combing through the hundreds of comments people have made on Dr. Oz's site a common thread is the expensive ingredient list. I discovered this myself when I spent over $80 on the food for a 2-day diet. I also found that the problem is in the master shopping list which is why I wrote, How to Save Money on the Dr. Oz 48-Hour Cleanse Diet. If you are going to try the diet, read it first. It will definitely save you some money and leftover food as well.
