So I've ventured into middle age ( how did that happen?) and I weigh 50 lbs more than my highest weight ever (HOW did THAT happen?) and I've been trying to lose weight unsuccessfully for the last several years. I realize one of my problems is poor body image. From a very young age I was taught to believe I was fat and that it was bad and, as hard as I've tried over the years, I can't seem to shake that belief! So, in an effort to improve my body image AND actually look at my body on a daily basis (something I find very difficult to do), I'm embarking on a campaign to dress fashionably for work and take a picture of the clothes I'm wearing and the jewelry I accessorize with. My hope is that by posting pictures and viewing them on a daily basis I'll get more comfortable with my body image. I am blogging about it in the hopes that my journey might help someone else.
Blogher family, I need your help. I'm new to blogging and I can't figure out how to post the pictures I've taken. Any other thought or suggestions welcome.
Until I figure out how to post pictures il'll describe what I wore. Day 1 included brown pants (right fit curvy - petite from Catherine's), an orange tank top with a white middle eastern design (charter club woman - Macy's), light beige three quarter sleeve jacket/sweater (charter club woman - Macy's). Jewelry from Lia Sophia (never heard of Lia Sophia, just ask me) Jacqueline necklace, crave rings, interlink bracelet all in gold.
