Here is an excerpt from my upcoming memoir: "The Syrian Jewelry Box: My Journey to Truth"
I always felt that I was different, that I didn’t fit in. And, just when I believed that all pieces to my life’s puzzle had fit, those irresistible urges—to snoop inside of mom’s jewelry box—that dogged my past returned to haunt me. Might a piece to my life’s puzzle have been missing?
I love his quote below...because it ties in with why I had so many questions.
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke
