1. The act of imposing or the condition of being imposed.

2. Something imposed, such as a tax, an undue burden, or a fraud.

3. A burdensome or unfair demand, as upon someone's time

Imposing. This is what she feels she's doing to us. Imposing. As if her illness inconveniences us or burdens us for the things that we want to do to help her. It boggles my mind. She says she can handle what this is doing to her but what she cant handle is its impact on us and our lives. This is my mothers way of thinking. Always worrying about others and how things will affect our lives. She has a perfect heart of gold but a head of steel. No matter how much I tell her that I am happy to do anything for her that she needs or that will help her mind to be at ease and worry free, she just cant understand it. She cant put her mind around the fact that this is just a small portion of my gratefulness just to have her as a mother. She needs us now more than ever and I am more than happy to be there. There to take her to appointments, get medication, shop with her or just be there while she sleeps. Its really my pleasure. I tell her, these are not thing we are unwilling to do but do because we have to, these are things that we do because theres nothing else in the world we'd rather do. Ive always felt that parents take care of their children just long enough for us to return the favor and take care of them. This is it. This is my time to show my mom how much I truly appreciate her and all she's done for me and no matter the outcome of this struggle, she will always know how much I truly love her....

Imposition. Ha! Yeah right.
