Over these next two weeks:
- We will overeat.
- We will over-schedule.
- We will have lots of last minute things to do.
- We'll likely get in a couple fights.
- We may feel guilty after the decorations are taken down and our waistbands are tight.
- We'll wind up sleep-deprived, yes, even though we get time off of work.
Unless, that is,
You figure out how to have YOUR perfect holiday. Eat when you're hungry, but use tricks like only eating sweets when there's someone you feel sweet about to eat it with (a.k.a. no late-night fridge cookie runs, get an apple instead). Make some delicious, healthy recipes to mix in with those old family ones full of butter and sugar. Do short exercise routines each morning that keep your metabolism up and don't put a dent in your schedule.
All in all, figure out what works best for you - your unique body, mind, and spirit, over the holidays.
Considering the fact that this is what I've spent my life studying (hello, 2 Master's degrees), save yourself a ton of time (which you don't have this week anyway) and schedule a consult with me to get some perfectly customized tips, recipes, and tools to get you through these next weeks without a hitch.
I'm taking 20% off this week (until Saturday), to make it easier than ever to get your consult.
In other news, this weekend was fantastic. A high tea, a short movie shoot, and a day at the beach in 80 degree weather were included. Expect pictures tomorrow :)
