Hello again friends.
Part two to my series with Blogher and Best Buy will be once a week journal entries for the Inspiration to Fitness program, where I will talk about my progress and goals and how much I love/hate all the exercising I have been doing. Once again...it will be ALL me and my opinions and my very own thoughts and feelings on it all. If you have any questions, send me an email I will do my best to help.
Our week one journal entry is supposed to be about our goals for the next eight weeks and following registered trainer and dietician Alysa Bajenaru's track to a healthy heart.

I love everything about it. I am thankful and blessed to have a great metabolism, no weight to lose really and a body that responds really well to exercise. Things I should take advantage of. About this time last year was when I started to do the 30 Day Shred...and if I am being honest, it probably helped to pull me out of a depression type funk. I was exercising and feeling good about my body. I was getting tone, my metabolism shot through the roof and my body felt better than ever.
And while I haven't too far to go...I want to get back there. I did really well with exercise for several months in a row...and then we went to Florida. And here and there and everywhere and my habit went out the window. I haven't exercised regularly for months now.
So my goals for the next eight weeks include:
1) Exercising six days a week.
2) Not giving up when there is a lapse of days. In other words, committing to a life style change and not just a temporary fix.
I plan on using a combination of the dvds that I already own and love to set up my workouts. I will alternate between the Yoga Meltdown by Jillian Micheals and the 30 Day Shred by her as well. Plus, some stand alone exercises as well where applicable to the plan.
