Three Reminders for today:
1. Speak Kindly: Our words influence our thoughts and the thoughts of others. Share your positive outlook with the people around you and it will not only improve your mood, but it will improve theirs too.
2. Smile Often: A smile is contagious, it boosts your mood and makes your pretty face even prettier. Making the conscious effort to smile can be challenging, especially if you're stuck behind a screen all day. So today, if you catch yourself in a scowl, smile for a moment before you resume your activity.
3. Be Happy: Exercise gratitude for the little and big things in your life. If you don't know where to start, I recommend the 100 Happy Days project. I started this project when I was feeling especially low and it's changed the way I look at every day life. I find myself looking for the happiness in every thing - even the little nuances of my day. If you can't commit to 100 days, I challenge you to try to do it for 2 weeks to see if it shifts your perspective.
