Summer is still a long way but the sunny weather from the past few weeks here in Nice, has really put people in a happy mood, eager to enjoy life outside of the house.
In my case, a blue sky and plenty of sunshine makes me want to jump in the kitchen and prepare dishes with plenty of vegetables or fruits. That's why I started craving for a cherry clafoutis earlier today.
But as we can not find any fresh cherries at this time of the year, I have tried a clafoutis that you can make all year round namely with pitted sour cherries out of a jar. And for sure, it was a great success! Those cherries have been stored in a sugary juice and will give an extra kick to this dessert.
