Shepherd's pie our way was the perfect Saturday night meal! We have been cooking this dish using the same recipe for years now, when we used to live in the United Kingdom.
This dish is satisfying and fulfilling every time, it might be from the richness of the meat, or the creamyness of the potatoes not sure, but trust us It does taste amazing. A base of minced organic pork meat cooked down with a blend of spices including chilli and adobo, mixed with sweet peas, onions, garlic and champignon mushroom. The mix is then covered with a fluffy and buttery layer of mash potatoes covered with herbs flavored bread crumbs and baked until golden brown. A one pot meal that always hit the spot.
