I had some reservations about posting this recipe. I thought you might think it’s too easy and it would not count as an official recipe. I know self doubt will get you nowhere.
There is something about an easy recipe that makes me jump for joy when I realize I could have been making this all along. Or why didn’t I think of that sooner. I saw a photo of a kefir bowl on instagram and knew I had to try it. I bought some plain organic kefir and added what I had on hand. Yes, that’s how some ideas come together.
- 1 cup plain organic kefir
- 1/2 medium banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons flaked coconut
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and enjoy. I served this with a delicious carrot orange juice.
