Prepping for the 4th of July

Happy July friends!

This is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Because I LOVE the Fourth of July. Basically, it’s on the same playing field as Christmas morning. Every year, we go to a family friend’s house to play at the lake. It’s a great time. Plus, it’s warm outside – 80s and sunny is about as perfect a day as we can ask for after such a frigid and brutal winter.

Oh, and one other thing: the festive decor, food, drinks…you name it. A good day with good people. These are the days that I live for.

So right now, I’m planning what our contribution to a fab 4th of July will be. I’ve been thinking about this for a while. Mostly because I’ve been a little Pinterest addicted.
