If you prescribe to the concept that eating well and living fit are all about balance you'll agree that the occasional treat is simply a necessary component of that balancing act. I tried this recipe, adapted from Dorie Greenspan's Baking from My Home to Yours. No, it's not less than 200 calories. Nope - not full of whole wheat flour or agave syrup either. It's made with classic, sinful puff pastry and it's a fabulous way to treat yourself to that apple a day that keeps the doctor away.
