I'm new to blogging but I'm finding it extremely interesting and challenging. I have just started a blog, journaling my personal weight loss journey. It is called "My Simply Delicious Weight Loss Adventure with Epicure Selections." http://lindagauthierepicure.blogspot.ca/
This all started because my daughter moved to St. Johns, Newfoundland,and during her time there she has gained some weight, an issue she has never had to face before. I on the other hand have always had to deal with it. During our summer visit, we decided we'd form a small support group. This group would consist of myself, my daughter, and my best friend who happens to live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We'd exchange recipes, menus etc. However, knowing my frailties, I decided to take it one step further and blog about it. Since I live on the west coast of Canada, and they live on the east if I blogged about it I'd be more accountable and would have to stick to it. Right? It was a case of I'm going to do this.
I'm a self proclaimed foodie, I am an independent consultant for Epicure Selections why not bring it all together and at least try creating fast, healthy, and yummy weight control menus and recipes. You will notice I don't use the "D" word, I hate the word diet, it immediately makes me start looking for a chocolate bar, or an extra large pizza with beer.
Anyway the point of this entry is to reach out to fellow bloggers and receive your opinions on what I'm doing right or wrong on my blog; what you feel I need to do to reach a larger audience and in general letting it be known I'm out there.
