How was your Mother’s Day? Mine was simply the BEST. Hubby took me out to play at the casinos, so I got all dolled up.
But that didn’t last too long…
Haha! I actually don’t drink and didn’t. I’m naturally that crazy!
Afterwards, I caught up with my mama and sister and we went out for dinner. Absolutely delicious.
We had a blast and laughed…
all night long.
That’s not my drink.
Maybe it was. I love all martinis except for the dirty ones. I’m not that girl.
Followed by a great evening walk with the deer. I tried my deer whispering skillz but I realized I have nonez.
When I got home, I found two kiddies smiling with presents in their hands. They both gave me journals and drew pictures inside. BEST PRESENT EVER.
Hubby even gave me a big pot filled with different kinds of flowers.
I really couldn’t have asked for a better Mother’s Day. It was perfect in every way.
What started off this awesome morning? I made my family breakfast of course! (Yes, I did!)
Cheesy Baked Eggs with Prosciutto and Tomatoes
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tbs milk (optional)
- 2 oz prosciutto torn into small pieces
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (I used Cabot Classic Cheddar: Mild)
- 5-6 grape tomatoes: chopped
- salt and pepper
These babies were light and fluffy. If you prefer a more dense egg “muffin” leave out the milk.
