This Valentine’s Day – Can Anyone Say Girls Night Out

Craving a fun weekend excursion with your gal pals, but coming up dry on ideas? How about a group wine making class? A trend that is overtaking many major cities, classes can be booked for your friends, or even put together your own at home. Places such as Manhattan’s City Winery andBrooklyn Winery in Williamsburg offer group lessons in which you can make your own bottle with your bff or at a private event with 20 of your closest friends. Learn About Wine in Los Angeles makes vino creation available on the West Coast, and the Wine Institute lists reputable wine classes across the country.

Don’t fret if you can’t find accommodations in your area, the Fermenters Guild has created A Girl’s Guide to Wine Making that gives a step-by-step of how to host your own from party themes, what to buy, and what to eat.

Just remember to provide wine to drink that night, as your bottle will have to ferment for a few months before the cork can be popped…giving you another excuse to get together with your closest gal pals and raise a glass!
