Last winter, the hubs and I went to a dinner party at our family friend’s house. She’s an amazing cook and made one of the most delish combos I’ve ever had: roasted pork topped with an apple raisin chutney. Since then, I’ve been obsessed with finding an easy to make (but just as delish) apple chutney recipe that I could add my own little twist to. And you know what? I found it. I twisted it. And it’s amazing.
The best thing about chutney is that it’s versatile. You can use it with cream cheese or brie for an awesome appetizer. You can top meats with it for a fresh take on an old recipe. And I’m sure there are even ways to work it into a homemade dessert. Which I just might have to look into!
