Ham and Broccoli Bow Tie Pasta Bake

Believe it or not we are huge broccoli eaters at our house. Especially Charlie.

I had to get after her for trying to eat the whole head of broccoli straight out of the fridge before I made this.

Don't worry I wasn't one of those moms who wouldn't let their kid eat healthy vegetables, I just made her share some with me so I could cook with it. Ha! I will never complain about my kids loving vegetables!

This is such a quick and easy recipe for those rushed nights when you want to just throw something in the oven. It's also a great way to get your toddlers to eat their meal! The bow tie pasta makes it so fun to eat for them. 

Ham and Broccoli Bow Tie Pasta Bake 
 
You will need:
2 cups broccoli chopped (minus a few bites from your toddler, haha)
2 cups of cubed ham
1 jar Cheesy Ragu Roasted Garlic Parmesan sauce 
10 oz. bow tie pasta 

What to do: 
1. Chop the broccoli into bite size pieces.
2. Cube the ham into bite size pieces.
3. Cook the bow tie pasta. 
4. Mix everything all together with the cheese sauce in a 9x13 pan.
5. Cook in the oven at 350 for 20-30 minutes. 

This recipe would be simple enough to cook the broccoli and ham ahead of time and then just mix in the sauce pan, but it was easier for me to just throw it in the oven. :)

You can customize the recipe any way you want. For example: more broccoli or ham, add mushrooms, substitute the ham for shrimp, add cheese on top.. endless possibilities!

Did I mention how delicious this is?! YUM!

Sam is not a left over type of person at all but the next day he was excited to eat what left overs we had of this. It's that good!
